Join us for a series of informal discussions at Burgess Road Library looking at three key questions, voted for at our recent carol services. These evenings are ideal for those of any faith or none.

The evenings are completely free to participants. You don't need to know anything about the Bible, and you won't be asked to pray, sing or anything embarrassing like that. You can ask any question you like, or you can just sit and listen.

Puddings & refreshments provided.

The questions will be:
(1) How can I believe in God when there is no evidence? (13th January)
(2) Is Jesus the only way? (20th January)
(3) If God is good, why is there so much suffering? (27th January)

The evenings start at 7.30pm at Burgess Road Library, Burgess Road, Bassett, SO16 3HF. Get in touch if you wish to find out more.

Enjoy singing? Our non-auditioned community gospel choir Resound meets Tuesday evenings from 7:30-9:15pm at Burgess Road Library during term time.

We sing soulful gospel hits as well as some traditional spirituals and will perform with our band a few times per year, as well as at some Christ Church events.

It's a friendly group and there's no need to be a member of a church to join us. For more information, please email Evee.

Resound meets every Tuesday.

With the withdrawal of public funding, our local library was under threat. Christ Church is working with the Burgess Road Library Action Group and Southampton City Council to keep the doors open for the local community.

If you're interested in getting involved in the project and maybe volunteering your help, we'd love to hear from you. You can get in touch here
