WHAT TO EXPECT
We're on the hunt for Olympic recruits for Heroes Academy 2024!
Could your child become one of the heroes we're looking for?
Southampton's annual Heroes Academy has become a fixture in the calendar. It has now been running for over 10 years. In that time, it has brought 'out-of-this-world' fun and memories to hundreds of 5-11s across Southampton.
We'd love to welcome your child to be a part of it this year. Once they've come, they sure to want to return year after year.
Each morning, your child can expect some time together as a big group as well as time in smaller groups with children the same age. They'll be able to enjoy games, crafts, quizzes, music, drama, Bible stories and opportunities to make friends with others.
There'll also be a pop-up café running, with homemade cakes, for parents to stay and chat. This is a wonderful chance to meet other local parents and just enjoy some time with other grown-ups, with the option to even hear a bit about what the children are learning from the Bible too!
Heroes Academy finishes with a free family BBQ and games afternoon on Saturday 31st August. That's your Saturday lunch taken care of!
And of course the Grand Finale: children will present some of what they've been doing and learning at a special ceremony on Sunday 1st September at 10:30 (this replaces our normal Sunday Service).
